The Markets were fun ... and not just because I took the magnets. Az, Em and Lu all seemed to have a great time playing with them so much so that Em put in an order for ten sets straight away.. I had taken them because when I'd posted a pic of them on Facebook Az asked what they were for. For fun ... pure and simple. I don't think Az truly understood until she started playing with them.
Sunday afternoon we joined M at The Big House - Sooz and she had a swim while I took photographs of the "compys". I was pleased they were still there as the pool area has had several major remodels since first we saw them ... sometime after Jurassic Park came out and those tiny scavenger (well hunters really) dinosaurs - compys for short - endeared themselves to us by hanging out around the big soup pot (aka spa) licking their tiny Compy lips ... hmmm do lizards have lips? But they have survived the construction works quite well, and now seem to enjoy posing for photographs. They (the Compy water dragons) are quite beautiful and incredibly photogenic. It may be transmogrification but some of them even seem demure. But maybe that's just me.
The compys weren't the only dragons we saw over the weekend of course. Chinese Lunar New Year is upon us and the Lion Dancers were out at TBH ... and there was a massive welcoming dragon hanging out at Food Fantasy!
Did I mention we saw a swan on the way home on Sunday night ... not quite as spectacular as the Lion Dance, but more unexpected.
