Happy Valentines Day! And what a fun and unexpected day it has been ... busy as well ... who would have thought it would take so long to catch up with the quotes after a couple of days away and that they would keep coming and coming in all sizes and variations. And there are orders coming through as well ... and we're all happy about that.
Sooz and I went down to the Broadwater this evening and had dinner as we watched the day draw to a close over the water. It really is a lovely way to end the day ... even more so because the rain held off ... except for a few spots but they were hardly enough to count! It wasn't as busy down there as it often is on a Friday which meant we were able to get a park on the first trip around the block ... and we were able to get a table without any problems. Happy day! And when I checked to see what time it would be moonrise ... it said exactly that moment. How amazing .... that I should read it so incorrectly. What I was looking at was the current time ... moonrise was still two hours and some minutes away. D'oh!
Matilda is finally available from the Library and I am enjoying it very much. It makes a change from the end of the World anthology I checked out while I was waiting for Matilda to arrive. It has some interesting contributors from a variety of genres and times.
We're still waiting to find out if my coming up from The Central Coast this weekend. We haven't seen him since he was up last November and it will be good to catch up and find out Ma and Da's wedding preparations are coming (only 13 months to go now) and whether he's decided to buy that boat! If he does come up we may venture up to Toowoomba although I'd really like him to come via here so I can drag him (and Sooz) along to the Sand Sculptures at Surfers.
