Sunday

At Catalina's - not the generation gap.
We ran into Syl and An at Catalina's this morning.  I'm not sure who was more surprised, us or them. Perhaps us as we had only just been talking about them and when they'd be leaving for Tamworth for the Country Music Festival.  I'm not sure what they're planning to do with the furries.

The price of petrol just keeps going up and up.  When I filled up last week it was just over $1.12 a litre and today the best price I have seen it for $1.42!  Very soon it's going to be in an arm and a leg territory.

The weather is still ... unpredictable.  It rained again overnight and was sprinkling this morning - not.much but enough for the young thing at Catalina's to go searching for puddles to put her toes in.  When she wasn't doing that or climbing into the highchair, she was busy with the iPhone.  We couldn't see what Miss Two (or so) was doing but it was certainly make maintaining her attention ... just like the older woman who was busy "studying" and making notes out of a book that seemed to have "law" in the title.  Of course it could have been "slaw" and been a cookbook.  It didn't look like one though.
As Oliver edges towards Sooz, Mr H is not happy.

M has given Sooz a present ... it is an Oliver ... a bear - and while it is very cute, there appears to be some dissent among the current ranks ... it seems Mr Hankie is not ready to play with the new arrival just yet ... which is a surprise because all the others have accepted him just fine.
