Saturday

We met Syl, An and the others for breakfast at Salt this morning. It will be our last group breakfast for a while as Syl, An and their fur babies set off in their caravan soon on the next leg of their Great Aussie Caravan Adventure. We'll still meet up with the others but since we won't have Blue along (because he'll be travelling with his mothers) we won't have to restrict ourselves to dog-friendly venues. We will of course miss folk trying to get their turn nursing Blue, always hotly contested.

Hurrah! We finally managed to catch up with the next episode of Call My Agent this evening. We have only one episode left of Season 4 and then we're going to have to wait for Season 5 and, very excitingly, the full-length feature film that's on the cards. We're not quite sure of the timing of those but we have scheduled viewing of the last episode of "CMA" for Tuesday.

The Broadwater was a bit busier this morning than it is during the week. At one point there were five or so swimmers in the lagoon, three or so more than usual. There was a queue at the boat ramp - boats, jet skis, the usual, but a few of them. The cyclists were out in force - both along the Broadwater walking path, and on the roadway where they were finding it difficult to maintain single file - grrrrr ... They were outnumbered by the tiny dogs and their owners. I don't know why there were no leaf-blowing- men around this morning. Do they save their appearances for week day mornings only?

Nigey continues to be intrigued by the washing machine - and she loves the new microwave box. I'm letting her think we bought the box for her - I'd hate for her to think she only gets our hand-me-downs instead of new. Come to think of it, she hasn't had a new something since Aunty M got her the super-dooper yabba-dabba-do Beach House. Mind you, it wasn't a Yabba- Dabba-Do house until she sat on and flattened the roof.
