Nigey has been running around like a maddie but she has now settled and is having a nap near me on the table.
She had an exciting time yesterday when Aunty M popped the harness on her and took her out into the yard. She (Nigey) really wanted to tuck into the grass - and we were able to tell M which bits to steer her away from - those that I'm using in my weeding experiment and which might not be that good for Nigey to munch on. Nigey stayed out for a while - and it did take her a while to settle in to having the harness on. You could almost see her thinking about how she shucked the Elizabethan Collar off after she'd had "the op" - and she was certainly doing some of the same moves rolling, and scooting backwards. But M kept encouraging her and reinforcing the message: wear the harness - go outside. Hopefully Nigey will remember - and be much easier to coax into the harness - when M brings Mimi's harness over for Nigey to try.
The rain had been with us a few days but we're back to blue skies again ... and loving it. The lawn (A & B) was moved yesterday but I worry that I may have taken A back too much. I think cutting it on "2" would be good for it but that makes it too short -and it doesn't look happy. So I'll go back to "3" next time. I'll need to do C over the weekend - and bring out the weed control measures for around the back near the laundry drying area.
