Friday

We had a lovely weekend away in Toowoomba via Lake Moogerah near Warwick.  We were in Toowoomba for Te and Ch's Baby Shower ... and in retrospect I wonder if the boys were right in saying that boys don't usually attend Showers.  But it was good they did otherwise how else would we have been able to see three of the boys competing to see who could drain a baby bottle the fastest or a blindfolded Ch trying to feed Te.  All good fun!

RJ remains a cute addition to Te's family and we are constantly amazed at how good Mi and Ka are with her.  And how much fist can one boy shove into his mouth, and how much chocolate bunny can RJ fit into hers?!

On Friday I left Sooz at the motel while I finally made it to the Darling Downs Zoo.  It had been on my list for a while. Previously when I have spoke to Mi and Ka about it - they have been with school groups - they said they really enjoyed it ... and I could see why.  There have a wide range of animals, keepers' talks throughout the day and the opportunity to do encounters with some of the animals.  I think we may have been spoiled by going to the other zoos like Dubbo though where the animals do seem much happier, roaming "free" behind moats and low-rise fences  rather than in obvious cages.

During the week, we had another viewing night for "Call My Agent" and we've finally reached the end of Season 2.  This means we only have two or thee seasons to go - and hopefully they're not busy making more because there are another couple of shows we really want to get to!  We may have to watch more frequently ... and maybe even think about starting to binge watch it!

As at 6am yesterday morning, we no longer have to wear face masks ... just in time for our new face masks to arrive. We ended up getting ones with patterns ... and will hopefully never need to use them ... but if we do ...
