Wednesday

Happy Anniversary to us! Who can believe that this time three years ago Sooz and I were newly-married and settling in to the Burleigh Heads apartment for our honeymoon. The time has flown - yet so much has happened! But that's a subject for another day - and not really one we can study for - and given an eighth place at Trivia tonight - we do need to study. Our weakest subjects are still Sport, Geography, and a couple of others. Pe has told us about an app she saw on Millionaire (who Wants To... or Hotseat - not sure which) that can help you (or us) learn Geography. That would have been of use tonight - I'd like to say we knew that South American country shaded red was Bolivia - but it was really an educated guess.
Why can't Trivia have questions about Masterchef and what's happening with this year's Top 10, or how to set custom margins in a word document, or how much the penalty is if you're caught using/ holding a mobile phone while you're driving in Queensland. We could, between us, have a fair go at getting most of those right this week.- more so than last week as I hadn't been to renew my licence at the TMR yet then. And who knew the TMR website had a section to help someone decide which caravan would best suit them?
And speaking of caravans, An and Sy, and their fur babies were on the last leg of their trip to/from Adelaide today. They weren't supposed to be back so soon but with more CoVid cases popping up on the Southern States and an increasing uncertainty as to whether the Queensland border will be closed in the near future, they decided it was best to head (read: leg it) for home.
We joined the Wednesday group for lunch at Salt today.  The original plan had been to go to a cafe down at Burleigh Heads but time constraints meant lunch had to be closer to "home".   We enjoyed it, and it was an excellent opportunity to show Mouse, Mi and the others our "Wedding Belles" album - thank goodness we finally had it finished!
