Sunday

Well it took a while but we finally made it to a cafe that had been recommended to us. It's on the Broadwater at Biggera Waters (not far from us) and I have to say that is pretty good. I would say it was absolutely wonderful but we don't want everyone to go there. I'm not sure what we liked most about it ... the ambiance, the decor, the food, the view ... they were all good. They are open from 7am to 2pm Tuesday to Sunday and they tick every box on our "What makes a good cafe?" list ... although the parking could be an issue on the weekends and busy days.

After I dropped Sooz at Reiki practice this afternoon, I wandered off to the Botanic Gardens with the cameras. It was fairly busy over there and even though only a few folk could have been described as doing vigorous exercise, not many people at all were wearing masks. This did not include the couple who were out with their toddler who they were encouraging to "walk" to them. She was willing but needs more practice. I couldn't help but think about RJ as I watched them ... she's doing serious teething at the moment and I'm sure she's past the battle/crawl stage and ready to start getting properly mobile. It's about time of course - she's over a year old now.

But, back to the park ... they all looked so intent on the walking that I took some pics of them and as I was leaving I grabbed their email address and have now sent them a selection of the pics.
