Tuesday

We were down at the Broadwater again early this morning to do our walk, even though it was a bit later than we'd plan because one of us wanted just that extra half hour of sleep ... that would be me!  It was amazing how much difference just half an hour can make in terms of the amount of light there is and now that we are past the Winter solstice it will just keep getting lighter each morning.  As long as Pelicans (the coffee shop) keeps opening at 5:30am we should be okay, because we will have to start going earlier in the mornings because as the days get longer, the mornings will get hotter.
After our walk, Sooz shouted me to breakfast at L'etranger, the Cafe we tried for the first time on Sunday morning.  It was as good today although there were not nearly as many folk there this time.  That could just be because it is Tuesday.  We'll have to try there on different days to see what it's like.  I did check with them and they do take bookings so we may end up there on a Saturday morning with the usual group.
We really are going to have to find some more team members for Trivia ... either that or change our team name to something more appropriate for our current performances ... I'm not saying it should be "Crash and Burn" but that could be an option.
We are still enjoying MasterChef and somehow we have come to be in Finals Week and after tonight's cook we are now down to just four ... two boys, two girls.  I wonder if there will be an elimination tomorrow night as well ... and if, if they keep going at this rate, will there be anyone left for the final cook-off.  Everyone has their favourites I guess but I have no idea who is going to win this year's Title.  I do think the calibre of cooking they are expecting from the contestants is exceptional and certainly sometimes even the contestants seem amazed they have plated up such amazing dishes.
